What Is The DTF Process:



- Create your design, put it into your DTF rip software.
- Print the pattern on the DTF transfer film, and then print the DTF white ink on top of color.
- Shaking powder adhesives onto printed film, make sure that the DTF hot melt powder sticks to the pattern evenly.
- Bake - Melt the DTF powder adhesives onto the DTF transfer film using a heat press, DTF oven or DTF powder shaker with heating function.
- Press - Press your design onto a substrate. Applicable on cotton, polyester, leather, cardboard, and other rigid materials.
- Finishing - Tear off the DTF film after press. Your work well done!

What Is DTF Adhesive Powder?
DTF powder, or pretreat powder, direct to film adhesive powder, also known as a hot melt adhesive made of polyurethane resin and grinded into adhesive powder. It's used to cover the prints before the process of pressing begins, specifically formulated for use with DTF printing.

CALCA Black DTF blockout powder is used to block garment colour or patterns that might be visible through the transfer.
DTF black powder is an direct to film adhesive powder to be applied after printing a DTF design. It was made to stop color migration from bold color garments to not show through white ink. For example, when you press on a red shirt or another bold color (dyes) a white design could look reddish instead of pure white because of the color migration. Also, they can be used on black shirts to help with the choke. If shown on the border of the design on black shirts, DTF black powder will help.

CALCA Direct to film powder gives the garment the softest feel, but at the price of making it a little bit harder to shake off the transfer sheet.
